The six-seater aerial cableway on the sunny side of the Grindelwald Valley leads from the glacier village of Grindelwald to First at 2168 m above sea level. The wide variety and exciting attractions found in this excursion region include the First Cliff Walk, the First Flyer, which is unique in Europe, mountain carts, scooter-bike rides and several theme trails. Lake Bachalp is famous as the pearl of mountain lakes and is a favourite hiking destination.

Speed through the air from First to Schreckfeld with the ‘First Flyer’, an 800m long zip line ride! Continue by mountain cart to Bort before whizzing downhill by scooter back to Grindelwald.The cable car stops at the Bort and Schreckfeld intermediate stations.

In 2018 the First Glider will open. It is a new adventurous attraction and in contrast to the First Flyer it has capacity for four “passengers” at once. Guests float through the mountain landscape and enjoy a panoramic view at high speeds: To begin with, the First Glider is pulled backwards from Schreckfeld towards First at 72 km/h. It is on the way back that the eagle really takes off. He and his passengers glide the 800-metre-long flight route at up to 83 km/h.
