After a short drive along beautiful Lake Zürich, a great shopping opportunity awaits you at the Lindt Chocolate Shop – buy some these famous Swiss chocolates from the factory shop itself! Through Rapperswil, the city of roses known for its medieval castle, you will reach the region of Appenzell, stopping first in Stein to visit the cheese factory where the famous Appenzeller cheese is made! Learn more about the cheese making and the ancient traditions of this typical region. A cheese tasting awaits before you continue to the picturesque village of Brülisau – time to take the cable car to the peak of the Panorama Mountain, Hoher Kasten. Take a walk through the Alpine Gardens, or visit the revolving restaurant (please note that lunch is not included in the cost of this tour). After this unique excursion, you finish your day among the beautiful facades of Appenzell with a guided tour.
